OK so last weekend I brought my buddy Andy out fishing, and right after nailing a 8# pink in the bait box my electric penn he is using wont work. After a couple minutes of checking wiring, I figure out that I blew the inline fuse, I looked and looked and could not find another 30amp in my tackle box. So, I cut out the inline and bonded the two wires with a band-aid so he could keep fishing.

What are your most ingenious or horrific on the water repairs you have had to deal with?

When I was a "kid", my dad and I were fishing off of Possession Pt. in a rental boat with his 10 hp. Johnson when all of a sudden the shear pin on the prop broke. Dad took a 4/0 bait hook and used it for a shear pin and got us back to Norma Beach.
